Following up on the letter from the Head of the West Java Province Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Number B-3131/32000/PR. 440/10/2023 dated 31 October 2023 regarding the draft requirements for FY 2024 officers as well as the Decree of the Head of BPS Garut Regency regarding the committee for recruitment activities for prospective BPS statistical partners in 2024. BPS Garut Regency FY 2024, BPS Garut Regency will hold Verification and Updating Data for Prospective Statistical Partners for the Year 2024. This activity was carried out as part of the initial registration process for the needs of prospective statistical partners who will then participate in recruitment as prospective officers for survey/census/data processing activities for the 2024 Fiscal Year at BPS Garut Regency. The requirements and qualifications for prospective statistical partners in 2024 are as follows:
A. Criteria that must be met
1. Not State Civil Apparatus (PNS and PPPK);
2. Physically/spiritually healthy;
3. Discipline and commitment;
4. Willing to work under contract;
5. Willing to take part in training (if any);
6. Able to speak Indonesian well and read and write Latin letters;
7. Able to communicate well;
8. Minimum education of high school graduate/equivalent is preferred;
9. Preferably aged 18 s.d. 50 years at the time of registration;
10. Preferably own, master, and be able to use a computer/gadget/smartphone;
11. Preferably owning and being able to drive a motorized vehicle;
12. Experience with census/survey activities at BPS is preferred;
13. Preference will be given to local residents;
14. Able to collaborate and coordinate with team members, BPS employees, Village/Subdistrict Apparatus, SLS Chair/Manager, and others.
B. SELECTION STAGES
Next, prospective BPS statistical partners for Garut Regency must follow each selection stage as follows:
1. Administrative Selection (1 – 15 November 2023)
a. Prospective Partners who register for recruitment must have a BPS SOBAT account.
b. Prospective Partners who already have a Buddy account can do the following:
· Login to the SOBAT BPS application (can be downloaded on Playstore or click the following link: mitra.bps.go.id)

c. Prospective Partners who do not yet have a Buddy account can register

e. For prospective Statistics Partners whose status is "Accepted" in the administrative selection stage, then access the "Competency Test" menu to select the Competency Test session schedule.
2. Competency Selection (16 – 30 November 2023)
a. Competency Test session selection can only be done once.
b. The Competency Test is carried out independently by prospective partners during the selection period (until 30 November 2023).
c. The Competency Test consists of 30 questions which are taken in 60 minutes.
